procedure documentation. These binders were built and managed manually, often with a
development life cycle of 5 months or longer. The Alchemedia Project was engaged to
bid on a solution to the problem. The result was a consultative approach that first
tackled formalizing the binder development process.
Next, a comprehensive business process
and data management system were built. The secured portal now manages binder development,
images, documents and custom workflow that link internal approvals to external vendor
services. Binders that once took months can now be completed in three to five weeks.
