STARAwards is a self-operated college and university professional development program where members collect points for qualifying products and redeem them for professional development efforts. Since program participation requires labor intensive proof-of-purchase tracking, STARAwards teamed with U.S. Foodservice to collect purchase data directly from the source. When members purchase qualifying products from U.S. Foodservice, their purchases are transferred directly into their STARAwards account. The result is the first completely paperless rewards program within the foodservice industry.
