Marlin Network is looking for a Digital Strategy Director. We work with some of the biggest national food brands, developing exciting creative work and smart digital marketing. To continue to stay ahead, we are looking for the right people who can lead our clients to the next level in digital marketing. The Digital Strategy Director is responsible for leading agency clients in the activation of technology in the marketing mix. Working with client service, brand planning and creative directors, the Digital Strategy Director recommends digital solutions that leverage agency capabilities and respect client readiness. The DSD works as a subject matter expert, providing direct coaching to select contributors in the digital planning team and peer coaching to other functional leaders. The Digital Strategy Director is co-accountable with business leaders for agency KPIs, providing leadership in the digital visioning of the agency, and creating a plan to advance agency competencies.

  • Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience developing strategies for digital activation across multiple channels within a fast paced, agency environment
  • Excellent methodology and planning skills with “big picture” mindset
  • Abreast of emerging trends and ability to educate and influence direct reports and clients in collaborative, cross functional environment
  • Excellent communication and persuasive skills with the ability to interpret data to make sound recommendations
  • Proficient with digital platforms and analytical tools
  • Proven experience developing new business
  • Experience with B2B and B2C audiences
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong written communication and verbal communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in project management tools
  • Skill in supervising to include delegating responsibility, training and evaluating performance
  • Excellent customer service orientation
